Table Stakes
Refers to the amount that you buy into a poker game for and can bet - a "low stakes" game may be a $20 buy in and have a $1 max raise.

Tell
A tell in poker is a detectable change in a player's behaviour or demeanour that gives clues to what cards that player has.

Three Bet
To be the first player to put in a third unit of betting. For example, if Bob opens for $10, and Mary raises to make the bet $20, if Ted also raises to make the bet $30, this is to "three bet".

Three of a Kind
Also known as trips or a set – three cards of the same value.

Tight
Tight players play relatively fewer hands and tend not to continue with weaker hands, they usually fold a lot

Tilt
Emotional upset, mental confusion, or frustration in which a player adopts a less than optimal strategy, usually resulting in poor play and poor performance.

Top Kicker
Top kicker is the best possible kicker you can have. It is usually an ace, unless there is an ace on the board – then it’s a King.

Top Pair
Top pair is a pair of cards of the highest rank on the board.

Trips
Also known as three of a kind or a set – three cards of the same value.

Turn
The fourth community card dealt face up in texas holdem.
